The Framework Plan
A long-horizon community, planned in the open.
The Western Geelong Growth Area is part of the Northern and Western Geelong Growth Areas, guided by the Framework Plan adopted by the City of Greater Geelong in August 2020. Four Precinct Structure Plans — Batesford North, McCanns Lane / Merrawarp Road, Batesford South and Heales Road East — are being prepared by the Department of Transport and Planning, with finalised plans due by 2031.
No PSP in this precinct has been gazetted yet — details will be confirmed as each plan is published.
